Part Number: PMP20289 Hi
We are trying to bulid a 500 W Half Bridge LLC using LMG3410. we gone thro the PMP20289 reference design. KIndly clarify on the below.
1. For the given spec, the value of resonant tank components is coming around Lr= 7.8 uH and…

Team,
There need your help about PMP20289.
There have some new questions about PMP20289 which is a 500W(400V – 12V/42A) high frequency resonant converter using high voltage GaN devices.

Part Number: PMP20289 Hello,
I was looking at the eval board PMP20289 Resonant LLC converter and I was wondering what the possibility is of using this design as a bi-directional converter. To be able to convert from both 400 to 12 and 12 to 400.
Thanks…
Part Number: PMP20289 I noticed that in "PMP20289 RevA Test Report" document, on page4 it is mentioned that the inductance values for the transformer and the inductor is 67.5uH and 1.66uH respectively. The frequency of the measurement is said to be 400kHz…
Part Number: PMP20289 Hello all,
My question is about the design of PMP20289 transformer. As you might know, the PCBs containing the transformer's windings are connected together (and also connected to the inductor winding) through wires soldered to…
Here's a reference design you might refer to:
http://www.ti.com/tool/PMP20289#technicaldocuments
It has all the technical documents including schematics, PCB layout and block diagrams.
Hope this is a good place to get you started.
Regards,
Robin,
My reply was focus on how I select Lr in PMP20289 - the UCD3138 based LLC reference design.
The Lr is much smaller than what's in TIDM-1001 has the following reasons:
1. The resonant frequency is higher in PMP20289 (almost doubled).
2. The…
HELP!
I am waiting for the expert to answer.
Meanwhile, I get a fury of replies from TI "customer service" with "request denied" repeatedly printed because "I was asking for export control" or some such absurd idea!
All I…
Hi Robin,
I have asked someone from the digital controller team to comment on your questions regarding UCD. May I ask where did you obtain the scematic in the PMP20289LLC_SYNC_RECT_OBSERVATIONS.pdf? The PMP20289 schematic I have shows no diode in between…
