Part Number: UCC2897A Hi TI experts,
See my attached 102W Active clamp forward converter schematic diagram (Input 24-36V DC and output 12V DC-8.5Amps), it is almost similar to PMP6547.
But here issue is, when we power ON input supply, Z1 and Z2 Zener…
Part Number: UCC2897A Other Parts Discussed in Thread: PMP9720 Hi TI experts,
For PMP6547_REVB reference design, what's the turn ratio of the transformer?
For wide input range, the secondary FET is having high stress, if still go with self-driven, any…
Part Number: UCC2897A Hi,
My customer want to evaluate PMP6547. please suggest how can we get this EVM board ? also, can't find the PCB file of this ref design in website. please help. thanks.

Part Number: UCC2897A Hi,
In the PMP6547, it is a wide range input, and fix 12V, 10A design.
In the schematic, there is a R20 and L3 in parallel.
What is the purpose to have both R20 and L3?
Thanks a lot.
Best regards, Cage.
Sirs,
I purchases an eval board using the PMP6547 and the parts to build it last year only to find issues noted before such as incorrect silk screen. After replacing parts damaged by this, I have found the bill of materials does not match the boards…
Kening,
The reference design board BOM I have (PMP6547) is missing D3 , D4 , and R19 ( board has place for) and the BOM lists R100,R103 and R102 but no place on board? Can you clarify if these parts are needed?? Thank you Don Scoggin ACI Technologies…
Part Number: UCC2897A Hi
My design is almost similar to PMP6547, output is 12V 9Amps.
DC/DC converter doesn't start, If full load is connected to output. After powering On the converter we could connect the full load without any issue.
What need to…
Hello Sam,
to generate 240W output power w/ a single ended forward converter the input voltage range needs to be tight; I would expect your true input range 18V to 60V or even more like 18V to 75V. So your input range is around 1:3, may be 1:4.
To get PMP9656…
Hi Jim,
Thanks for contacting us regarding your WEBENCH design. Your output is fairly high current and probably beyond what WEBENCH would consider "standard." The WEBENCH designer algorithm designs the transformer taking into consideration several factors…
