SN65LVDT390
has higher ESD rating (15kV vs. 4kV for SN75LVDT390), so that's one option. If that's not enough protection then using an external ESD protection device would help. This System-Level ESD Protection Guide has more details...

Hi, I am using
SN65LVDT390
part in my design. The IC datasheet says it is a LVDS receiver IC for signals of data rate upto 250 Mbps. Can we use it for LVDS clock signals of frequency 40 MHz ?
