Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TIDA-060001 Hi E2E,
Good day.
Our customer can't find the product folder of the TIDA-00067 and the 24VDCPLCEVM on the website, are these redirected to other links or it was already removed in TI website?
I'm hoping for…
Hi Joao Paulo,
Unfortunately, the AFE03x is not automotive qualified, nor is there a commercially available evaluation board for its demonstration. Nevertheless, here are a couple reference designs for its application to other markets.

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AFE031 Dear Sir/Madam,
Do you have any reference design suitable for smart home application?
I have checked TIDA-00067, but it is for DC power line. Do TI have any reference design for AC power line?
Hope to hear from…
Hello,
The max PHY bit rate we have seen with the AFE031 + F28PLC84 is 35 kbps. For higher data rates AFE032+TMS320F28375S have a max PHY bit rate of 312 kbps. The only reference design that has the AFE032 is TIDM-MINI-DC which I have attached the…
Hi Olrik,
The way you have the circuit drawn in your block diagram would not work. You have drawn the DAC8740H devices like they are sitting on the same bus, but these devices have a separate pins to send and receive the HART signal (MOD_IN and MOD_OUT…
Hello alireza nazem,
Please review carefully the document associated with the following TI design: http://www.ti.com/tool/TIDA-00067 "DC Power Line Communication (PLC) Reference Design"
It shows the method for coupling to power lines without using…
Hello Luis,
Indeed, a transformer is not mandatory in every case. The T filter used in http://www.ti.com/tool/TIDA-00067 will work as it is with your 24 VAC bus provided that the AC bus in your application does not have frequency components (other than…
Hello Karthikeyan Sivasambu,
You can use the same schematic used in the DC PLC Reference Design for AFE031 (http://www.ti.com/tool/TIDA-00067).
Yes, the line coupling circuits can be the same. You could consider using the series LC filter (600 nH and…
Peter,
The signal switches and multiplexers we have turn on and off buses for isolation or have 1:2, 1:3, 1:4, multiplexing for signal routing. The currents these types of products can handle are typically <500mA. For higher current switches you may…
