Part Number: MSP-FET Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TIDM-FRAM-EEPROM Hi Expert,
Are MSP-FET and TIDM-FRAM-EEPROM available on both "MSP430FR2355TRHA" and "MSP430FR2155TRHA"?
Thanks and Best regards,
HaTa.
Hi HaTa,
Please refer to the TI Design below. The design shows how to use FRAM to emulate an EEPROM, but also includes code for the master which communicates to the EEPROM, which would be useful.

Part Number: MSP430FR5964 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: MSP-TS430RGZ48C Hi experts,
I'm having a problem with the SRAM area of the MSP430FR5964IRGZR that my customer is using.
This is the same customer and the same device as the previous case supported…
Part Number: CC3220SF Hi,
I am trying to include http server in my code along with wi-fi provisioning, OTA, Mqtt(AWS). I have taken Wi-Fi Thermostat ( TIDM-1020 ) as a reference. I have removed ble, thermostat, touch tasks from the code( TIDM-1020 ). Provisioning…
You should be able to implement that using a communication state machine. Depending on your commands and associated data from your GUI, the MSP430 would configure the various ports and pins accordingly. It's definitely possible to do.
Intelligent…
Part Number: CC3220SF-LAUNCHXL Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BOOSTXL-K350QVG-S1 Tool/software: Code Composer Studio I plan to utilize thermostat example ( https://www.ti.com/tool/TIDM-1020 ) as a starting point for my project. However after significant…
Hey Chen,
You can use FRAM just like non-volitle RAM. Are you trying to load in data at time of programming or later? Either way, you will probably need to adjust the memory partitioning. This document will explain it all in detail: http://www.ti.com…
Hi Ikhwan,
We do not have a CC3200 example for the Kentec display, but we do use that display for the CC3220 thermostat TI design. Section 2.3.1.1 of TIDM-1020 discusses how the touch detection works and section 3.1.4.1.1 explains the hardware changes…
Part Number: MSP430FR5962 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: UNIFLASH Hi community member,
I have a favor to ask.
Is it no problem to update firmware without Mass Erase on BSL? If that is problem, is there a function to protect the main memory area with FRAM…
Hi Sterling,
We have a reference design for thermostat ( http://www.ti.com/tool/TIDM-1020 ) that uses CC3220 + K350QVG-S1.
CC3235 is the next generation CC3220 and both supported through the same SW SDK and have the same external interface - so porting…
