Part Number: TPS54528 Hi,
We have a question about the datasheet of the device. Is I_ocl an average output current or inductor valley current?
Best regards,
Part Number: TPS54528 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS62903 Hi team,
Customer need 5V -> 4.3V solution, they get a design with TPS54528, however the test shows under 2A, the output could only get 3.82V; this might because of min Toff time requirement…
Paul,
TPS54528 uses cycle by cycle valley detect current limit. It does not have any hiccup mode operation. See the datasheet section 8.3.2 for details.

Hi, In TPS54528 we use in our custom board design, we encounter humming noise problem and out-of-spec ripple in output voltage. Can you help with the subject? I am sharing the relevant…
Part Number: TPS54528 Dear Sir
About VBST of TPS54528, as data sheet mentioned, there must be have a 0.1uF ceramic capacitor connected between VBST to SW terminal
What if the spec of ceramic capacitor changed from 0.1uF up to 0.01uF, will there…
Part Number: TPS54528 Dear TI:
Can you help to supply the build-in MOS parameter? Customer want to know why PIN SW short to GND?
Like Vds, Reverse recovery time, and so on as below:
Thanks!
Part Number: TPS54528 Dear TI:
My customer used TPS54528 for 12V-->5V/2A, when the PCBA test, this are 3pcs TPS54528 SW pin short to GND, total test 50PCS.
Customer test PCBA used a test machine, the PCBA is put in the groove of machine, and the machine…
Part Number: TPS54528 Hi Team, we would like to confirm if there are occurrences similar to this phenomenon. Every 3 to 4 hours the devices are encountering sort of a spike up to 9V for 200ns. Do you have an idea if there what is causing this problem…
Part Number: TPS54528 Hi Team,
The TPS54528 is a 5A output IC. Is there any way to set the overcurrent protection to 5A or less? Currently, the overcurrent protection function operates at an output current of 5.5A, but I want to operate it at about…
