Other recommended devices are: TPS61023, TPS61253A...

Similar devices are TPS61259/TPS612592 or TPS61253A. There is no p2p with TPS61252. TPS61251 which is p2p but it is optimized for large output capacitors (>150uF)

To reiterate, none of our NVDC chargers were designed to output a constant voltage on SYS for the entire battery charge cycle and definitely not when no input voltage is applied.
For 12-24V input and small size, BQ25792 is the best choice…
