Part Number: TPS76901-HT Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS76901-EP , , TPS7H1201-HT Hi, The datasheet for both the TPS76901-HT and TPS76901-EP says - To calculate the minimum input voltage for your maximum output current, use the following formula…

Iqbal, As highlighted in the datasheet on pg. 3 of TPS76901-EP maximum recommended output voltage is 4.5V. TPS76901-EP ( TPS76901SDVBTEP) is tested to higher temperature range as opposed to commercial version of the part, thus the change in specifications…

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS76901-EP , TPS76901-HT Hi Thermal shutdown for standard TPS76901 is specified as 165C but there is no mention of thermal shutdown of high temperature parts like TPS76901-EP and TPS76901-HT. Also if some one know…

Hi Ramesh, I appreciate that an LDO would be cleaner than the DC-DC, it just seemed impractical in cost and accuracy. The question some posts back is still open: is it reasonable that the 150°C maximum component actually has better specifications at…

  • RE: LDO TPS7601-EP Vref value appears erroneous in Datasheet Ver. A ref. SLVSA53 not 1.127 V as stated but 1.224 V

We are investigating the data. I would agree that at room temp 25C Vref should be 1.224 for all the devices commercial, TPS76901 -EP (SLVSA53A) or -HT. Will confirm and take corrective action to address the datasheet.

Shihab, I attached all the extended temperature products for linear regulators with input voltage greater than 10V. There is only one part that allows the full VIN; it is the TPS71501-EP (adjustable output voltage). However the maximum rated output…
