    Is the output on the A & B signals 0 to 12V? If so than you will need to use a voltage divider to make the singals from 0 to 5V. This is due to the level shift chip use on the inputs of TMDSHVMTRPFCKIT. The part number is TXB0106. Is this encoder attached…

    Hi Ramesh, You are right. The signals are fine on the B side of TXB0106 , but are erratic on the A side. I think that is causing all the trouble. I have ordered a new chip for replacement and hopefully that will fix the issue. Thanks, Tamil

    You could use the SN74AHCT595 and eliminate the TXB0106.
