Jonathan, The transformer drawing describes how to construct the transformer yes. As you can see from the schematic the input voltage is rectified to DC by D1, so the voltage applied to the transformer is not the AC line voltage. Also the output…

Dear TI people, I'm still stuck on this issue. I'm thinking about an approach to increase my changes to get some help on this. So how about this one: As the UCC28720 is a device designed for minimal no load consumption, Low cost, minimal BOM count…

Hi IgorR Thank you for reaching out. The IC is most likely restarting because it has encountered a fault. Please refer the following debug guides which might be helpful with the debug process. https://e2e.ti.com/support/power-management-group…

Hello BR, The UCC28722 is the same device as the UCC28720 and does not have the internal high voltage startup. You would use trickle charge resistors to charge up the VDD capcitor. However, it you want to use the UCC28720 you could use a series…

Hi, Sergey UCC28720 is not recommended to support two output rails in parallel. I recommend you to change the output voltage of UCC28720EVM to 12V and use Buck stage to achieve 5V from 12V. Then, you can get both 12V and 5V. BR, Yunsheng
