Hey Ethan,
Great choice for the PCB layer stackup, It is good to see that layer 5 will act as a ground plane beneath the signal layer.
For the analog bus, Please try to leave enough spacing to allow for the ground pour to go between the signal traces…
Susmitha,
Thank you for your post and your interest in the LDC1612.
There are a couple of resources you can leverage.
The E2E Inductive sensing FAQ has a wealth of information on using our inductive sensors.

Hello,
Yes this device can achieve a 25mm sensing distance. We have the LDCCOILEVM that has a few larger coils that are designed for larger sensing ranges. I would recommend starting with one of the 46mm diameter coils from this for prototyping.
Best Regards…
The recommendation values are for a generic motor. You may have to tune these parameters according to the testing result. We don't test such high frequency motor with InstaSPIN-FOC, it could be difficult to run or identify this high frequency motor with…
Hey Tomer,
It is possible to use INA181 in-line; however, there are two primary risks/concerns. First, is inductive kickback which could pull Vcm < -0.3V. This will require system validation and testing. If Vcm could go below -0.3V, you will need to protect…
Hi Justifice,
The DRV8935 current sensing in done on LS FET only for current regulation using the VREF and comparator. So current regulation works only for HS connected loads. The mechanism of operation for current regulation and its sequence is described…
Hello Mr. Lee,
The schematic indicates the current-sense amplifier measuring the shunt would see a input voltage that is switching from 24V to ~0V. Thus, I would lean toward recommending devices with good Vcm (common-mode voltage) PWM rejection (INA241B…
Part Number: LDC5072-Q1 Theory of Operation
The LDC05072-Q1 is a front-end for inductive position sensors for measuring absolute rotary position in automotive and industrial applications. Inductive position sensors work on the principle of eddy curre…
Hello NIcolas,
I don't see any way that this could work with inductive sensing. The theory of operation of inductive sensing is to generate an AC magnetic field on the coil, then when a conductive target is brought into proximity of the coil, the…
