INA122: Low input not registering

As Kai pointed out, it will be helpful if you provide us with load cell specification or part number, schematic or design requirements in the application.

Q: What else can I do to increase this low input sensitivity ?

If you increase the excitation reference voltage to the load cell, it may increase the input sensitivity. Higher IA's gain will give you a proper output voltage and other desired benefits. If you tell us the load cell specification or part number, we can recommend an IA for the application. 

For instance, you mentioned "it doesn't output any (or enough) voltage at low force". We do not know what the issues are. Since we do not have the circuit schematic, we are unable to comment on the solutions to the observation. It is possible that you may not configure the input bias voltage correctly for the load cell.

Thanks but I resolved the issue - had nothing to do with the INA122 - it was a software setting on my PC - D'OH !!
