THS4631: Oscillation at low gain differential configuration

Part Number: THS4631
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TINA-TI

Hello,

I am using the THS4631 configured as a differential amplifier with very low gain = 1/40 = 0.025 and high resistance values, which might be the cause of the oscillation I am seeing.

Feedback resistor = 2.5k and the other resistor is 100k => gain = 2.5k/100k = 0.025.

I am using it to sense a 100V differential voltage and up to 200V CM voltage. Schematic below.

The output of the THS4631 named "Vout_sensed" is oscillating even at no Diff. input, see scope picture below.

I am following datasheet layout guidelines, so I think layout is not the problem.

The SPICE simulation shows there should be no oscillation, how can I solve this ?

Also, THS4631 is a transimpedance OP Amp which might have stability problems at very low gain, should I change it with a different one? I am open to do so as long as CMRR is high enough (>100 dB).

Looking forward for your response,

Catalin
