OPA192: Supply current

Part Number: OPA192

Hi,

1. Kindly let me know the Value of maximum current consumption of OPA192 @VCC=3.3V and VSS=-3.3V.

2. I want to generate -3.3V from 5V supply. so how much output current i need to consider?

3. Aslo suggest me any IC having 5 to -3.3V suitable for OPA192.

4. Iam using Rsense =10R for high and low side sense(120ma and 24mA). Am i able to sense voltage by using this resistor?

5. Iam sensing 5mV also by using this opamp(gain maximum i can set is 1.8)Is it possible to sense?

Thanks

Monisha OM

  • The typical OPA192 quescent current, IQ, for +/-3.3V supplies at 25C is shown below to be around 0.98mA but the maximum may be 1.2mA (1.5mA at 125C).

This, however, does not include any load current supplied by OPA192, which will depend on the specifics of your circuit.  If you need additional assistance, please provide schematic of your application.

  • Hi iam connecting only one sense resistor 10R across input and output is connected to one adc pin. As i want to sense both high and low side sense , my output get inverted, so i need negative supply also. but what is negative current requirement

  • In order to assist you, please provide a circuit schematic.
