LMH6642: using for the comparator

Hi,

We may use the LMH6642 amp. I heard the noted about the amp using to comparator.

Could LMH6642 use to comparator?

In+: 0/3.3V pulse (1.6MHz)

In-: constant 1.65V (=3.3/2R)

It's not wise to use the LMH6642 -as almost any other OPAmp- as comparator because of overload recovery time. See figure 57 of datasheet.

It's way better to take a true comparator for this task
