LM311: LM311 single power supply voltage

Dear team,
The power supply voltage in the manual is confused. Please see attached picture.
Can a single 24V power supply be used in the design? If so, what are the requirements for the input signal level.

    Thanks for your question and sorry for the confusion.  For a single supply system, the recommended max value is 30V, so using a 24V supply is well within the recommended range.  The key is the difference between VCC+ and VCC- which is process limited.
