ALM2402F-Q1: Comparison between ALM2402-Q1 and ALM2402F-Q1

Part Number: ALM2402F-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ALM2402-Q1,

Hi team,

Due to supply shortage, customer is looking for a replacement solution of ALM2402-Q1.  Could you please help provide a comparison table between ALM2402F-Q1 and ALM2402-Q1 and how will it influence application?

Thanks,

Scarlett

  • Hi Scarlett,

What application are ALM2402F-Q1 or ALM2402-Q1 used for?

For instance: ALM2402-Q1 has a slew rate of 0.15V/usec and ALM2402F-Q1 has a slew rate of 3.4V/usec. Thus ALM2402-Q1 can only operate at lower driving frequency and amplitude than ALM2402F-Q1. The maximum driving frequency in a resolver application is determined by the following relationship. If a resolver is required to have larger voltage driving amplitude, then ALM2402-Q1 may not be applicable.

There are many other differences between two parts. Can you provide us more details about the end user application and I will review these requirements.

I saw that you are looking at the following resolver application note. If you need additional assistant, please let me know.

If the application will be used to drive a resolver, we have another driving option in ALM2403-Q1

    Best,

    Raymond
