INA126: What is the actual temperature range of this part.

Part Number: INA126

Hi, on page 1 on the INA126 datasheet it states that the operating temperature range for the INA126 is -40C to +85C (industrial temp range). Then on page 5 of the same datasheet it states the operating temperature of the INA126 is -55C to +125C. Can you tell me what the actual operating temperature range of this part is?

  • Hi Mike,

I see what the issues are. There are conflict information about the operating temperature information found in the datasheet. I believe that VSSOP package has wide operating temperature that is rated from -55C to +125C.

I am going to verify the above table with the system engineer and get it back to you.

  • Hi Mike,

I got more information in INA126 part.

INA126 part should “operate” from -55 to 125C. If you are concerned about the datasheet performance, you need to go by the table, which is specified from -40C to +85C. There may be degraded performance when operating at temperature outside of the range.

For instance, the drift figures are specified from -40C to 85C, which it is guaranteed between -40C to +85C as shown in the table below, not outside of the temperature range.

If you have additional questions, please let me know.

    Best,

    Raymond
