Does TI have any integrated solutions for amplitude demodulation?

Good morning!

I wish to know what could be the simplest ways of carrying out amplitude demodulation (not for RF), using any integrated solutions that TI might have. The frequency range is maximum around 30kHz. I have come across a few simple analog circuits like envelope detector, multiplier etc. but if there are better and more accurate ways of achieving amplitude demodulation using any IC (like Analog device's AD630) it would make the task much easier.

Hi Kai, thanks for your suggestions.

I am looking for a more integrated approach. I found this analog multiplier (MPY634 data sheet, product information and support | TI.com), would this be a better solution from a design perspective?

Hi A,

I wouldn't use an analog multiplier for this task. Have you noticed that the MPY634 has an input offset voltage that is about 1000 times higher than the offset voltage of OPA27? And, there's still the high price of MPY634 or AD630...
