TLV9064: tlv9064

Part Number: TLV9064

Hello all,

I am using a TLV9064SIRTER quad opamp in my design. I'm not making use of the shutdown feature so the SHDN pins are tied directly to the positive rail in the PCB. The TLV9064IRTER comes in the same package but doesn't have the shutdown feature. The pins are NC in this device. Can I safely use this device in my existing PCB design or would the NC pins being connected to the positive rail cause any problems?

Thanks,

Paul

  • Hi Paul,

The NC pins can be tied to the positive rail without impact to performance or functionality. Section 7 of the datasheet describes the NC pins as possessing no internal connection to the device, therefore, they can be left floating or set to a voltage level.

Let me know if you have any questions,

    Regards,

    Jacob
