INA200-Q1: Typical application parameters in Table 1

Hello Support team,

I can find the below typical application in the datasheet.

According to Table 1,

VOUT_TRIP = ITRIP x RSHUNT x Gain = 1A x 5mΩ x 20V/V = 0.1V

R2 / (R1+R2) x VOUT_TRIP = 15 / (10+15) x 0.1V = 0.06V

Therefore, I guess that Table 1 design can't work at ITRIP=1A.

Is it wrong description in the datasheet?

Hi Hirokazu,

yes, this is a mistake. You would need to increase the shunt resistor and/or choose a INA200 with a higher gain.

Hello Takashi-san,

Thank you for using the E2E forum and bringing this to our attention. You are correct that the values listed in Table 1 are incorrect for the example. The correct value for Rshunt should actually be 50mOhm, not 5mOhm. We have added this correction to our future datasheet updates.
