We have a DO-160 tested and qualified design that uses the TLC2272MJG. The only part that seems to be available is the TLC2272MJGB. After several hours of digging through your website, datasheet, and Google I have not been able to figure out what the "B" suffix means. Can you tell me if the two parts are the same of if we would need to retest if we use the B suffix part.

Both TLC2272MJG vs TLC2272MJGB packages are no longer manufactured, which are NOT showing in TI store.

The non-SMD packages are still shown in Mouser.com; and mouser has not taken down the legacy parts, which are not available in mouser store.

I am still waiting for reply from quality team. I will post the reply as soon as I hear from the team.
Since TI indicated that TLC2272MJGB is active, this must be true. I could not figure out why the CDIP-8 package was not listed in a regular TLC2272'sdatasheet, and TLC2272M series have its own separate datasheet, where both parts are using the same die design (Military/Aerospace//Space may differ in product screening qualification and/or specification requirements).
