INA220: Control difference between INA220A and INA220B

Hello,

My customer is using the INA220A, but is considering mixing the INA220A with the INA220B due to delivery issue.

Is there any difference in the control method between INA220A and INA220B?

The customer wants to mix and use with the INA220B without changing the firmware being used for the INA220A.

    Hello JH,

    Thanks for the question and using the E2E forum!

    Functionally, the A and B versions of the INA220 are identical. The B version offers better performance in some areas, mainly offset, as shown in the data sheet. Your customer should have no issue with using their existing firmware.
