THS4541: THS4541

Part Number: THS4541
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: THS4051, , TINA-TI, OPA858

I'm looking for a THS4051 PSPICE model that I can use that works.

I downloaded the PSPICE model for the THS4051 that was linked to in one of the threads in this forum and I got errors.

Here is that link:

https://e2e.ti.com/support/amplifiers-group/amplifiers/f/amplifiers-forum/844373/ths4541-the-pspice-model-for-ths4541-dose-not-work

2450.THS4541_Pspice.CIR

I found a thread on the TI E2E forum which recommended connecting some nodes to ground through 10 MOhm resistors.

I followed that advice and created the PSPICE file which I have attached here, but still have one error, shown below:

ERROR: Node U1:I0:I19:1:102 is floating and connected to current source G:U1:I0:I19:1:RA

Direct Newton iteration failed to find .op point.  (Use ".option noopiter" to skip.)

  • Hello Kenneth,

Do you need a PSpice netlist for THS4541 or THS4051? I tried the THS4541 CIR file you linked, and it worked on my end, but I did use Tina-TI.

The reference designs using PSpice for TI also works on my end. Would you be able to run either THS4051 PSpice circuit located here (titled Example Electrosurgery Reference Design) or THS4541 PSpice circuit located here (titled OPA858, THS4541 Flow Cytometry Example Front End PSpice Reference Design), and report back if these worked for you or not? If it did, I would use those symbols + netlist, but I have a feeling that this is a setting issue within the software.

    Thank you,
    Sima
