Our customer would like to measure battery voltage for automobile applications by reading bus voltage in charge monitor. How to use the INA229  device for voltage measurement?

    Hello Carlo,

    The INA229 has an ADC that can measure a few items: Vsense Voltage, Vbus Voltage, Temperature, and Calculated Current, Calculated Power, Calculated Energy, and Calculated Charge.

    This is a matter of configuration of the device and measuring the Vbus Voltage through the registers as stated in the datasheet. I assume you are looking for.

    The INA229EVM is a good start with the GUI to guide you through the measurements.

    After that we have the sysconfig that can help start the development of software.
