TLV7011: I want to use TLV7011.

Part Number: TLV7011

The datasheet says that IC has

internal hystersis .Then how to give Upper threshold and lower threshold voltages to it? or Do we have to connect the resistors  R1 and R2 EXTERNALLY? or are they internal in the IC?

  • The internal hysteresis is always there, and does not use resistors like that. You need external resistors only if you want more hysteresis.

  • Clemens, thank you for your input.

Apoorva, as Clemens has mentioned, the internal hysteresis is already there and is not implemented without any extra resistors, so you can calculate your upper and lower threshold voltages from that internal hysteresis voltage. If you want more hysteresis, you can add the resistors and your threshold voltages will just include the internal hysteresis from the comparator and external hysteresis from the resistors.
