TLV9002: TLV9002 vs TLV9002-Q1

Part Number: TLV9002

Hi team,

Is there any difference in characteristics between TLV9002 (TLV9002IDR) and TLV9002-Q1 (TLV9002QDRQ1)?

I’m looking for alternative for TLV9002IDR. TLV9002QDRQ1 seems to be the one.

As I checked the both datasheets, I found below parameters are not the same

  • Supply voltage max
  • ESD rating (For TLV9002S)
  • Thermal Information
  • Input offset voltage max
  • Quiescent current per amplifier max

Is there any other difference between those devices?

Also, if there is any points should be taken care of when switching from TLV9002 to TLV9002-Q1, please let me know.

Best regards,

Kurumi

  • Kurumi-san,

The automotive version (Q1 suffix) can be used in place of the commercial version. The difference in ESD rating should not change the design you because you are looking at 2 non-shutdown parts. The supply voltage is an absolute maximum, and we do not recommend operating the device at the Absolute maximum to avoid damaging the part. Under recommended operating conditions, the supply voltages are the same.

The automotive version will be significantly more expensive. If you could provide me with the system requirements (supply voltage, slew rate, bandwidth, quiescent current, etc) I may be able to find a suitable replacement that is not as high of cost.

    Best,
