THS3095: Negative Dual-Supply Operation

Hi Team,

Our customer has an application wherein they need to drive -27V output from THS3095. Is it possible to set +Vs to 0V and -Vs to -30V? If this would be possible what particular limitations should we consider?

I will get back to you shortly about your particular use-case. Please check out this prior post on asymmetric supplies, including some articles written by Michael Steffes. These can offer some more detail and context for your -Vs=-30V use case, with +Vs=0.

Hello Jejomar,

I can be of more assistance to you if you share your circuit, additional specification needs, and what your load will be. From an initial review of the datasheet, in principle you are able to have +Vs=0 and -Vs=-30V. I would need more information to assist you in determining whether it will work as intended.
