LM258A: LM258A VOL issue

Part Number: LM258A
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TLV9352

Dear sir,

Delta reported the LM258A VOL issue, as following,

1.  the schematic circuit

R911 = R914 =  4pcs 750kohm resistor + 365K ohm resistor in serial

2. Output wave of LM258A

the yellow one (CH1)  is the output of LM258A,  which is clam to 570mV and too big headroom to GND,  the power supply of LM258A is +12V,  CH4 is the input of AMP.

3.  the output wave if we use TLV9352 to replace LM258A

1280

4.  Then go back to check the datasheet of LM258A, https://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/lm258a.pdf,  page 16:

to use 0ohm resistor to replace C919 (4n7) capacitor, then the RL = 100 + 1.5k = 1.6k ohms, which meet the test condition in LM258A datasheet,  it's a pity that the output is also clamed to 570mV.

Would you please share the VOL test method with me,  I will test it in TI Shanghai Lab, or please let me your address,  I will ship 2pcs LM258A IC to you ASAP.

Nice day!

Regards,

Jack
