INA199-Q1: Step Response , Common-Mode Voltage Transient Response

Part Number: INA199-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: INA199, TINA-TI

Hi team,

do we have any test data of INA199A1 Step Response &Common-Mode Voltage Transient Response?

in INA199 datasheet, we have figure 14 and 15. But they are for A3 version. We would like to see the A1 version data. Thanks.

  • Hello,

We do not have any test data for the INA199A1 for Step Response and Common-Mode Voltage Transient Response.

For the Common-Mode Voltage Transient Response since they are in the same family and have a gain variant change as well as there is no change in the CMR value between them we can assume they will behave very similarly. If we are trying to be very accurate the A1 will be slightly better because of the resistor network values (less gain) used for the gain.

For the Step Response since the gain is different they will reach a different output voltage. The A1 variant under the same test conditions will reach .5V instead of the 2V the A3 variant will reach. Since they have same slew rate we can assume the A1 will reach its steady state slightly faster than the A3 variant.

The responses will be very similar so for all intents and purposes you can assume they will be the same.

I suggest simulation of the device under the test conditions using Tina-TI the model for the INA199A1 will be under the product page.

If you have any other questions please reply

    Castrense
