LM139AQML: Difference between LM139AQML and LM139-MIL

Hi Team,

Our customer intends to migrate their design from LM139AJ/883 (NSC original) to JM38510/11201BCA (TI original).

Can you give us some insights on the actual electrical/technical difference(s) between them that should be considered significantly?

    Hello Jejomar,

    Both are QML CLASS Q "Mil" devices (but not Rad Hard).

    The dies are different. As with any device that is produced by two different companies (at the time), with two different layouts, on two different processes, there will be slight differences in operation when stressed. Both use older junction isolated high voltage processes.

    When operated within the datasheet specs, they should be interchangeable. We are not aware of any major differences other than what differences are covered in the datasheet tables.

    As with any substitution, they should run a full stress test of the end device to ensure compatibility.
