TL081H: What's the difference?

Part Number: TL081H
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TL071H, , TL084H, TL082H, TL074H, TL072H

What's the major difference between TL081H and TL071H? I'm wired about these two family.

Regards

Brian W

  • Historically, TL07x was the low-noise version of the TL08x. But nowadays, they are identical, and the part numbers remain only for backwards compatibility.

    TL0xxH are modern CMOS versions, with improved characteristics but more noise.

  • Hey Brian,

    As Clemens has stated there is no difference in performance. That is why they share a model.

    TL071H = TL081H, TL072H = TL082H, TL074H=TL084H.

    This can be quite helpful to know in this supply constraint environment. If for example you have designed it TL071HIDBVR (currently out of stock) it may be replaced by TL081HIDBVR (698,475 units in stock).

    All the best,
    Carolina
