INA286: Current at Varying Load

Part Number: INA286

Hi,

Good Day. The quiescent current gives the current consumed at no load condition. Customer wants to calculate current consumed at varying load. Can you give details on how to do this? Thank you very much.

Best Regards,

Ray Vincent

  • Hello Ray,

This is normally the IQ plus the load current.   You may have to add the current from the Resistor divider if they are using it as well.  The inputs also pull typically 25µA but if this is not connected to the current they are concerned about this may not matter.

Please not the IQ change with VCM and supply voltage as seen in datasheet.  Please let me know what other clarification you need.
