Hi,
Customer is designing a new device which has a 3.3V micro interface for SMBus.
Is the SMBus pins are open-drain or push-pull? Customer is not sure if they can directly interface from the 3.3V logic levels of the micro with simple pull-up resistors to 3.3V, or if they need a more elegant translation scheme with e.g. TCA9406.
