LM2907-N: Pump tach control solution

Hi Team,

My customer is seeking a frequency to voltage solution. But the VCC of LM2907-N look like cannot meet customer's application. Could you please suggest us more suitable solution? Thanks.

Application of Pump tach control (Frequency to Voltage Converter)
Tach Frequency Limit = ~ 1000 Hz
Tach Voltage = 0 - 5V
Do we have reference schematic (operate at VCC=5V) and design document?
perfect package: 8-pin SOIC, pls suggest order TI PN

the LM331 operates down to +4V supply voltage.

Yes, LM331 or LM231 would meet your minimum supply of 5V - see below product comparison table:

Hi Marek,

Due to customer would not use PDIP package, so look like VC32KU is another solution. Does its VCC minimum can support 5V?

No, it does not. The minimum supply voltage for VFC32KU is +/-11V.

Thanks for your comment.

After discussing with customer, they will use LM2907MX-8/NOPB and LM2917MX8/NOPB.

1. Could we co-design LM2907MX-8/NOPB and LM2917MX8/NOPB without BOM change?

2. Do we have reference schematic (operate at VCC=12V) and design document?

3. Could you provide simulation model for LM2907/2917 on TINA-TI?
