LM139A: Difference

Part Number: LM139A
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM139-N, ,

Hi,

Good Day.

What is the difference between LM139J/883 and LM139AJ/883? Is this related to the die used? Or the transition of National Semiconductor devices to Texas Instruments?

Please advise. Thank you very much.

Best Regards,

Ray Vincent

  • The LM139-N (OPNs LM139J/PB and LM139AJ/PB) was made by National Semiconductor.
The LM139A-MIL (OPNs LM139AJ and others) and LM139AQML (OPNs LM139J/883, LM139AJ/883, and others) are originally from TI.

The difference between the LM139xxx and the LM139Axxx is that the latter has a smaller offset voltage.

  • Hello Clemens,

Thank you for your help on this post :)
