Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AMC1350
Dear TI team,
Good morning.
Is ISO124 can be used for AC voltage sensing in a 3 phase grid tie inverter application.
Kindly support.
Thank you,
Caliber

Dear Kai,
Good evening.
In data sheet it never mentions that its a single power supply based and so it operates with positive and negative voltages.
in some application by using voltage divider ,signal has been sensed(Battery monitor).
As AMC1350 is not available as of now, will any ISO series will be possible equivalent component for voltage sensing application.
Kindly reply.
Thank you,
Caliber
Hi Caliber,
Yes, ISO124 can be used for AC voltage sensing as it supports a bipolar +/-10V input range with an internal gain of 1. The device also requires bipolar power supplies, typically +/-15V on both the high and low voltage side of the isolation barrier.
Unfortunately we do not have any collateral beyond the datasheet for this device, but please reference these cookbook circuits for designing the additional circuitry:
Dear Alexander,
Good morning.
Thank you for your reply and information.
Can we get AMC1350 in back orders?Whom we need to contact in TI?
If you had any information, kindly share.
Thank you,
caliber
Hi Caliber,
Periodically checking TI.com is typically the best way. I do not have a contact to offer for backorders.
