Hi Team, seeking your assistance.
Tried connecting the device using the dual- and single-supply configurations on the datasheet (pgs. 16 and 22), but I ran into overcurrent issues when testing these configurations using an external power supply. The only change that I made was with the resistor connected to the CL pin, such that it could have a variable current based a DAC's output voltage.
I am wondering if I could ask for some help with using this op-amp to provide between 0-300mA of current to a valve while the voltage across the valve is a constant 5V
Something that I did want to mention was that the voltage across the valve was changing, although the source was the DC output from the op-amp. I am wondering if, in addition to driving the proportional valve, the team might have any suggestions for anything that could help maintain a constant voltage across this valve.
