LM2903: Variation data for input offset voltage

Part Number: LM2903

Hello team,

Do you have variation data for input offset voltage in case of LM2903?

The below is data for LM2903B on the datasheet. Also if possible, can you also give me numeric data?

Best regards,

Shotaro

  • Hi Shataro,

what you show is nothing else than a representation of this data:

With the sole exception that only the typical performance is shown in the graph! It does not show the worst case input offset offset voltage and the worst case input offset voltage temperature drift.

The same data exists for the LM2903:

Read it in that way that the worst case input offset voltage including the worst case temperature drift will be within the window of -15mV and +15mV, compared to the window of -4mV to +4mV for the LM2903B.

As you can see the new LM2903B offers a very much lower input offset voltage and a very much lower input offset voltage temperature drift.

  • Hello Kai,

Thank you for providing that great info for Shotaro.

    Hello Shotaro,

I would just like to add that checking actual thresholds at high frequencies can lead to inaccurate measurements of the DC trip points.

This is because the prop delay can give a time skew. If you would like to accurately measure the DC trip points, we recommend using a much lower frequency such as 100Hz and to use triangle or sine waves.

    Best Regards,

  • Hi Kai-san and Joe-san,

We cannot prepare the same data/graph as LM2903B, right?

The data seems to be needed for register of the IC in the customer system.

    Best regards,

    Shotaro

  • Hello Shotaro-san,

We do not have extensive temp data for the older devices.

I will contact you directly internally with more information.

  • Hi Shotaro,
