OPA2990: supply voltage applied to output pin

Hello TI

I would like to use an OPA2990SIDGSR (or maybe different housing type) in a circuit and therefor I would like to know, if it is possible to apply voltages of up to 30V to the OpAmps output pin, when the output ist shut down, without damaging the OpAmp?

Hi PM,

If the 30V on the output pin is higher than the supply voltages, I could see potential issues as that might trigger the ESD protection circuitry kicking in. If 30V is lower, then there shouldn't be any issues doing this.
