TLV9362: TLV9362 replacement for OPA170 does not converge

I replaced an OPA170 with a TLV9362 in an existing working (production design) simulation and now the transient simulation will not converge.

It reports problems with other unrelated parts - Zener and other diodes from the built-in library.

Sometimes it points to deleted parts! Restarting Tina and rebooting Windows 10 didn't help ...

Any ideas? I've tried to use the Trapezoid integration option and varying the integration order.

    yes, TINA-TI can be tricky from time to time.

  • Unfortunately, the simulation is for a proprietary design that I cannot upload.

    I was hoping to get recommendations on other settings to change.

    After reviewing similar topics on the forum, I've changed Shunt conductance to 1p.

    That change eliminated one of the false Zener diode errors but still generated another on a Si 1N4003 diode.

    over the years we have gained a lot of tricks how to make such a simulation work. Without seeing the simulation I cannot fully help.

    Here are some tipps:

    1. Divide and conquer. Divide the whole circuit into small portions and simulate them individually.

    2. Do not simulate every single dot on the "i"s. Focus on relevant subjects.

    3. Open a new file and draw the schematic totally from scratch. Do not even copy and paste anything from the old simulation which is not running.

    4. Play a bit with this parameter:

    Modify it from 10p to 10µ, or so.

    The first tipp is the most important Relaxed
