LM139AQML: Clarification with supply voltage

Hi Team,

According to the datasheet, on the first page:

it is indicated that the power supply range is from 2V to 36V.

But its recommended supply tells a range from 5 to 30V.

We wanted to know if it is possible to power this comparator with a voltage of 3.3V and if there is any risk.

Hi Archie,

even if the LM139 is functional at such a low supply voltage, keep in mind that the common mode input voltage must stay 1.5V (2.0) below the positive supply voltage.

Thank you for pointing out the input common mode limitations of the LM139.

Kai pointed out the input common mode will be limited to VCC - 1.5V so please keep this in mind.
