TSV912: SBOA262A Analog Engineers Circuit quesitons

I'm trying to work through the example shown in the "Analog Engineers Circuit - Non-inverting op amp with inverting positive reference voltage", document SBOA262A. 

Starting in step 3 on page 2, where does the 1MΩ come from?
