THS4552: FB1/2 pin connection when unused in RTW package

Hi,

I am using THS4452RTW (QFN) package and my circuit requires using 10Ω resistor at the output of the FDA as shown in the circuit below. This image below shows THS4551 but I am using THS4552. The THS4552 RTW package has +FB1/2 and -FB1/2 pins closer to the inputs but I need the 10Ω resistor in the feedback loop and before the load. Hence it will be best to place this resistor at +OUT1/2 and -OUT1/2 pins. What connection do you recommend for the FB1/2 pins in this case - NC?

Hi Rahul,

It is going to be difficult to get an ideal layout with this, but one thing you can try is placing the isolation resistors at the feedback pins and routing the output from there. Either way you do it, you will want to leave the unused output or feedback pins as NC.
