Hello,
We received PCN 20220512000.1 which brought up some questions, in particular about P/N TLV1702AIDGKR.
Can you please confirm if part TLV1702AIDGKR currently has NiPdAu or NiPdAuAg terminal finish? Which (NiPdAu or NiPdAuAg) has always been the terminal finish of this part? After August 12, 2022, the part will ship as (Matte Sn or NiPdAu), (Matte Sn or NiPdAuAg), or (Matte Sn or NiPdAu or NiPdAuAg)?
This information is important to us because based on TI’s Pd, Au, Au-Ag terminal finish thicknesses, our lead free control plan may or may not require hot solder dip, depending on the NiPdAu and NiPdAuAg terminal finish. We need to know how to disposition future parts.
Additionally, can you please clarify which of the statements below is the correct interpretation of PCN 20220512000.1?
1. Parts listed in the PCN that originally had NiPdAu finish will be shipped with either NiPdAu or Matte Sn finish, under the standard part number. Those with originally NiPdAuAg finish will be shipped with either NiPdAuAg or Matte Sn finish, under the standard part number .
2. All affected parts in the PCN will be shipped with either NiPdAu, NiPdAuAg, or Matte Sn, under the standard part number.
3. All affected parts in the PCN will be shipped with NiPdAuAg or Matte Sn under the standard part number and only those with G4 suffix will be NiPdAu.
Thanks,
Jasmine
