The Class D amplifier chips have boost circuits that help with output current capability with low impedance loads - but what about high impedance loads?
Military aviation headsets are commonly up to 600 ohm loads and their SPL output requirements usually require higher output voltage supplies to satisfy.
Sure, class D may have higher distortion but at these sound levels is it a concern? I have been searching for a Class D circuit that could do this job but striking out.
Am I missing something obvious?
