PGA280: Will error flag OUTerr be triggered only by overcurrent?

Part Number: PGA280

Hi teams,

Can you help me about the questions?

Will error flag OUTerr be triggered only by overcurrent?(see the pic below)

If so, what’s threshold?

  • Hi Marsh,

The output error flag OUTerr is triggered when the output voltage is driven into the rail or when the output amplifier reaches its short-circuit current limit. The exact threshold for "overcurrent" varies over process and temperature so at 25C it could be 7-25mA.

I see this question has also been addressed through email. Please continue to use the email thread for further support on this topic.

    Regards,
