INA194A-Q1: Please introduce an accuracy current sense amplifier.

Part Number: INA194A-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: INA293, INA194, INA290, INA281, INA280

Please let me know if there is accuracy better than the INA194AQDBVRQ1.
Also, if there is an isolated current amplifier that is inexpensive and has good accuracy, please let me know.

  • Hello Kota,

The INA293 is more accurate but has a different VCM range and goes from -4V to 110V.  We have out isolated hall current sensor https://www.ti.com/sensors/magnetic-sensors/hall-effect-current/products.html.

There are tradeoffs in all aspects and normally cost does not go well with good accuracy and isolation.  Give me some more design limitations such as voltages and your definition of good accuracy and I can narrow it down.  But below are my initial recommendation from highest accuracy or ability to least.  The least will be the less expensive.  I assume that it is unidirectional that you need as the INA194 is unidirectional.  Also do you require -Q1 devices.  I assumed yes.

    INA293

    INA290

    INA281

    INA280
