LMP8601: LMP8601, Negative Voltage Issue in Current Sensing

Part Number: LMP8601
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: INA271,

Hello,

I'm using following circuit for bidirectional current monitoring using LMP8601-Q1.

I have some design requirements of measuring +/- 15V with maximum of 2A flowing through it. Initially used INA271 but found out that it would not work sensing the -15V.
Now I am working with the LMP8601 since it has CMVR at VS = 5 V: –22 V to 60 V which meets my requirement of +/-15V.
I choose 100mOhms as the shunt resistor to have the lowest error analysis. I also used a second order LPF for the design with center frequency of 246Hz

Looking at the datasheet
V_sense = R_sense*I_Load = 100mOhms*2A = 200mV

V_output = V_sense*Gain = 200mV*20 = 4V

When I measure the output it clipped at 1.5V

I don't understand why my configuration doesn't work. If the problem is I need to reduce the gain I saw in another thread that Bidirectional configuration is not compatible with reduced gain application?
Is that still true to the LMP8601-Q1.

Please, help me to solve this issue.

Best regards.
