LM358B: SOIC (D) | 8 - minimum package height?

Hi,

One of my customers is looking to add the LM358BIDR to their manufacturing systems.

I see that the maximum package height listed is 1.75mm. What is the minimum height for this part/package?

I got a response, the minimum height is 1.547mm. Do you know why the customer needed this information?

Hi Jerry,

Thanks for your response.

The min height is to ensure that the variation in part height is less than the spec on their pick and place machinery (0.6mm).

Since the max height is listed as 1.75mm, the 1.547mm figure should be within that spec.
